NBA: Clippers aim to stretch home winning streak today against Magic

The Clippers are looking to extend their franchise-record winning streak at home to 13 consecutive games with a victory today over the struggling Orlando Magic, losers of 10 straight. The Clippers haven't lost at Staples Center since Nov. 26. The Magic haven't won, period, since Dec. 19.

Grant Hill could play today for the Clippers after sitting out the season's first 36 games because of a bone bruise in his right knee. Hill, a 40-year-old veteran forward, was hurt during the Clippers' exhibition tour of China in October.

The Clippers gave coach Vinny Del Negro his 100th victory as their coach when they defeated the Dallas Mavericks in sluggish fashion Wednesday night at home. Del Negro is the fastest to reach the milestone in the franchise's history, needing only 184 games.

Jack Ramsay won his 100th game in 223 games while coaching the Buffalo Braves in the 1970s. Mike Dunleavy reached his 100th victory in 224 games earlier in the 2000s, which was the fastest of any Clippers coach.

Blake Griffin leads the Clippers in scoring, averaging 17.6 points. Chris Paul is next with an average of 17 points. Paul also is averaging 9.5 assists. Arron Afflalo, a former UCLA standout, is the Magic's leading scorer with an average of 17.5 points.
