Known for its over-the-top weekend brunches, Beaumarchais, 409 West 13th Street, in the meatpacking district, brings its penchant for parties with an ?End of the World? soiree Friday night. Another Mayan apocalypse party is being thrown by Maya?s Tequileria, 1191 First Avenue, on the Upper East Side, from 5 p.m. until late. There will be unlimited small plates (including tacos and empanadas) and all-you-can-drink margaritas, wine, sangria and beer. Children can decorate gingerbread houses with dried fruit and natural candy on Sunday at the Hootenanny Art House, 426 15th Street, in Park Slope, Brooklyn, at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Each gingerbread house is $30.

The first round of drinks (wine or beer) is free for guests all day who participate in Ugly Christmas Sweater Day at Ardesia, 510 West 52nd Street, in Hell?s Kitchen, on Sunday.

A prix-fixe dinner inspired by the movie ?Christmas Vacation? will be served on Monday at Louro, 142 West 10th Street, in the Village, and includes dishes like venison carpaccio and truffled turkey pot pie. The 5:30 p.m. seating is three courses for $65 per person, excluding tax and tip, and the second seating, at 9 p.m., is $85 per person, excluding tax and tip, for a five-course tasting menu.
